Returns

If you decide you don't want a bag you purchased, you can return it within 40 days of purchase for a refund, less the shipping cost. Contact me at gearbags@gmail.com or 651-276-3050 and I'll provide mailing instructions.

To get the refund, the bag must be in the same condition as you received it - without wear or damage. 

Once I receive and inspect the bag, I will issue the refund. It will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 10-15 days. Contact me if you do not see it after 15 days.  

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Gift cards are non-refundable. 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and inspected, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Defects 

It's rare, but if there are any defects with the materials or workmanship of a bag (zippers, straps, seams, buckles, etc) that I sold you online or at a show, I will either replace it with an equivalent bag or return your money.

You will need to send a photo of the damaged bag to gearbags@gmail.com and let me know if you want a replacement or refund. If you bought it at a show, include the name and location of the show. This guarantee does not include intentional misuse or damage unrelated to bag quality or workmanship - such as, but not limited to cuts, tears (other than the seams), burns, etc.
